Park trip and the future

Last weekend, May 14-15, I took a trip to Bryce canyon and Zion National Parks. It was fun but crazy since I had to go back to work on monday.
I've submitted some pics from the trip. I have a lot more that need to be developed. (I use both a digital and film camera) I'll be posting them in the future as soon as I get them developed, scanned, etc.
I'm hoping to visit some ghost towns soon and I'll post some of those pics afterward.
I haven't painted in over a year because of previous soul sucking reasons (you can read my other journal entries for details). I am letting my creative self recover and in the meantime I'm taking photographs for

Freedom the one thing that should be free but isn't. You buy your freedom by paying others who feel that they have some authority over you. In reality authority is the true myth and the biggest con of them all. Others only have authority over you when you give it to them.
Rejection of ultimate authority requires ultimate payment. Thus the only way to remain free is to be willing to die and remove any leverage authority has on you. The truely free are those who have given the only thing they truly possess for a righteous cause.
Lets salute freedom and understand that death may in fact be victory.

Well I haven't been on here in a loooong time but I decided to come back and see how things have changed or stayed the same. I think I might post some older stuff on here while I work on some new stuff.
Not to be all whiney, but I think I've had my spirit sucked out of me over the past 3 years and now I'm starting to rediscover my old self. My advice to everyone is too be VERY careful about the type of job you take as a creative person. I was working at a picture framing shop and thought that I would be stimulated by the environment, but beware! Working at a non art related job you don't expect anyone to have an appreciation for art. But
